The most obvious signs of the disease are changes and swelling in the joint area. But the disease can develop gradually, and the symptoms may increase and then disappear. Therefore, the following symptoms should be a reason to consult a doctor:

Swelling in the joint area.
Pain: constant, periodic, sharp, pulling, throbbing, when touched. The pain does not go away with complete rest.
Feverish condition. General and local increase in temperature.
Redness of the skin.
Limitation of mobility.
Reaction to weather change.
Clicking noises when moving.
Sometimes itching of the skin in this area and muscle spasms of the upper limb may be observed. Due to night pain, sleep disturbances are often observed.
